FAQ

Find answers to frequently asked questions about orders, products, shipping and storage.

After you submit an after-sales request, we will provide an Antibody Performance Feedback Form. Please complete:

• Product lot number and dilution

• Experimental parameters (antigen retrieval, antibody incubation, DAB developing time, etc.)

• Photos of staining results

Within 7 business days of receiving your application, we will provide in-house test results and recommended conditions. Paraffin tissue sections used in testing can be provided on request.

The full product line is validated for paraffin sections in IHC-P. All reagents are optimized and verified for immunohistochemistry workflows. They are not validated for frozen-section IHC-F, WB, IF, ELISA, or other assays; use in other applications requires your own pilot testing.

For customers in mainland China we cover shipping, unless the order total is under RMB 2,000, in which case you bear the freight.

First verify antigen retrieval, primary dilution, and secondary/detection compatibility. We can also provide photos from our QC staining. If signal is still absent after ruling out variables and handling issues, you may apply for after-sales review after submitting your results.

Store the full line at 2–8°C, protected from light, sealed and refrigerated. Do not freeze, expose to direct sunlight, or leave at high temperature. Cold-chain shipping with gel ice packs does not affect activity; transfer to the specified storage temperature immediately on arrival.

Based on our laboratory tests, we choose the most suitable shipping conditions to keep products in a low-temperature environment throughout logistics.

We use three shipping components:

• Polymer gel ice packs

• Foam box

• Carton

We ship by SF Express by default.

After we receive the returned goods, we will promptly issue a red-letter invoice and send it to your email to reverse the invoice already issued.

In-stock orders: paid by 5:00 p.m. on a business day ship the same day; orders after 5:00 p.m. ship on the next business day.

Out-of-stock products: we will tell you the expected wait, usually 15–60 days.

If you have other shipping timing needs, contact us before shipment and we will try to accommodate them.

Provide side-by-side staining from old and new lots with detailed records. Within 7 business days we will share in-house test results and recommended conditions, and return the paraffin sections used in testing. We can also run testing under your conditions and provide results on request.

The full line is compatible with manual staining platforms. Most antibodies and some companion reagents work with mainstream automated IHC stainers; fine-tune protocol parameters to your instrument.

Most antibodies will not lose activity irreversibly after a short break in the cold chain.

You may first test a small aliquot to check staining signal. If the signal is clearly weaker than expected, you may apply for after-sales review after submitting the experimental results.

Yes. We can issue VAT special invoices and VAT ordinary invoices. The transaction price includes 13% VAT.

Electronic invoices are sent to your email within 3 business days after we ship.

Try reducing retrieval intensity, increasing antibody dilution, shortening incubation, and adding wash steps. If results do not improve after several optimizations, provide full staining photos and the paraffin sections used. Within 7 business days we will provide in-house test results and recommended conditions, and return the paraffin sections used in testing.

No. Antigen presentation differs across assays; you must run pilot tests before using the antibody in another application.

If the outer packaging is damaged or the goods look abnormal on receipt, we recommend the following:

• Refuse on the spot: if the outer packaging is clearly damaged or the goods look abnormal, you may refuse delivery. Please notify us immediately; we will coordinate with the carrier to inspect the package and replenish ice packs to protect product quality.

• Incoming check: within 3 business days of signing, check variety, quantity, arrival temperature and packaging against the packing list. If anything is non-conforming, raise a written objection within 3 business days, keep that batch unused, and wait for our confirmation.

• Liability: after verification, if the issue is caused by us or logistics, we will cover all return/replacement costs.

• Note: if you do not inspect or raise an objection within the agreed time, the batch will be deemed accepted for variety, quantity and packaging. If failure to inspect, notify or store the goods affects tracing, we reserve the right to refuse a return or replacement.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

What if a tube leaks during shipping?

Photograph the outer packaging and the leaking reagent in full, then contact customer service. After we confirm leakage, we will replace the product free of charge within 1 business day.

The shelf life of every product is printed on the label and outer packaging. Please follow the expiry date on the packaging you receive.

Provide the order number and photos of the tube. We will match the full QC information and replace it free of charge with a fully labeled product.

Primary antibody formulations contain no cryoprotectant; freeze–thaw cycles can cause aggregation and loss of activity. We have verified stability at 2–8°C by thermal-stability testing and ongoing real-time storage monitoring.

Room temperature: not recommended. Proteins stored at room temperature may degrade or lose activity.

Long-term storage: keep products at 2–8°C, protected from light.

Tips:

• Return reagents to a 2–8°C refrigerator immediately after each use to minimize time at room temperature.

• Avoid repeated handling, which reduces protein stability. We strongly recommend aliquoting the protein at first use.

Species reactivity for each primary antibody follows the datasheet. Listed species have been verified on tissue samples. Unlisted species are not recommended; you may see no signal or high background.

Centrifuge the product after receipt; some liquid may remain on the inner wall or cap.

Each product is supplied to its labeled specification. At filling we add a small overfill above the nominal volume.

Volume above the nominal amount is process overfill for normal handling loss. It is not extra supply and is not billed separately.

Prefer rabbit antibodies for low-abundance antigens and mouse antibodies for classic targets such as immune-cell markers. Dual staining requires primary antibodies from different host species (e.g. rabbit and mouse).

We recommend storing products at 2–8°C.

If the product has frozen, thaw it slowly at 2–8°C and mix gently (do not vortex) before use.

If staining signal drops or disappears after thawing, you may apply for after-sales review after submitting experimental records.

Dilution, temperature, and incubation time on the datasheet are the optimized parameters. We recommend following the standard protocol. If results are unsatisfactory, you may fine-tune based on antigen expression and your experimental conditions.

Loss of antibody performance after the labeled expiry date is not covered by after-sales support. Please aliquot before expiry to avoid reduced performance affecting your results.

No. Secondary antibodies follow strict species-matching rules. Choose by primary host species. Common options:

• Goat anti-rabbit secondary: for rabbit primaries

• Goat anti-mouse secondary: for mouse primaries

• Universal secondary: for rabbit and mouse primaries

One-step secondaries are directly conjugated to HRP for simple manual workflows. Two-step systems use Linker (solution A) and secondary antibody (solution B); the secondary binds the primary via Linker to boost signal and sensitivity—suited to automated instruments.

HRP-labeled secondaries pair with DAB chromogen for stable brown/tan deposits, higher contrast, and long shelf life—the mainstream choice for routine IHC. AP-labeled secondaries pair with Fast-Red for higher sensitivity on low-expression targets. For routine pathology screening and research, prefer HRP.

One-step secondaries: 20 min at room temperature in a humid chamber. Two-step secondaries: 10 + 10 min at room temperature or 37°C in a humid chamber. Do not extend incubation arbitrarily—over-incubation increases non-specific binding, background, or false positives. If antigen expression is low, you may extend by 10–15 min.

Ready-to-use secondary working solutions can be used directly. Concentrated secondaries must be diluted per the datasheet.

Mix DAB chromogen and DAB buffer at 1:20, then use immediately. This is the optimized ratio—do not change it. An incorrect ratio causes weak staining, excess precipitate, or dirty background. Prepare only what you need per run.

Prepare DAB working solution fresh and use within 4 hours. Longer storage causes oxidation, brown precipitate, and loss of activity.

Store DAB stock protected from light and refrigerated. Working solution and the developing step do not require strict darkroom conditions. Optimal developing temperature is 20–25°C; low temperature slows development and high temperature may increase non-specific staining—control ambient temperature.

Yes. When positive areas are clearly stained and background is clean, stop immediately with distilled water or PBS to avoid over-development, darker background, and misinterpretation.

Citrate buffer (pH 6.0) suits a small subset of antibodies with the gentlest retrieval—often cytoplasmic and membrane antigens with minimal morphology impact. EDTA buffer (pH 8.0) suits most antibodies tested manually, with stronger retrieval for some nuclear and membrane antigens. Tris-EDTA (pH 9.0) suits most antibodies on automated platforms, with the strongest retrieval for nuclear, difficult, or low-expression antigens.

Reuse is not recommended. After heat retrieval and antigen elution, pH and ionic strength change, retrieval efficiency drops, and tissue debris may remain—leading to incomplete retrieval, uneven staining, and unreliable results.

No. Dewaxing with xylene or a dewaxing agent and graded-ethanol rehydration are essential IHC-P steps. Incomplete dewaxing or rehydration causes uneven staining.

Yes. It blocks endogenous peroxidase activity in tissue, reducing non-specific background—a required step in HRP-based detection.

We recommend 0.2% Tween-20 to reduce non-specifically bound antibody and improve clarity. Follow standard washing: 3–5 min per wash, repeated three times.

At room temperature, counterstain for 8–10 s; adjust for section thickness and reagent strength. Too light reduces nuclear contrast; too dark masks positive signal. Follow with differentiation and bluing solutions per your post-staining workflow.

A standard run needs two core controls:

• Positive control: verifies antibody activity, reagent system, and workflow.

• Negative control (blank/isotype): rules out non-specific binding, reagent contamination, and background interference.

Probably not. A normal positive control confirms reagent activity and a valid workflow. No signal on the test sample usually reflects absent antigen expression, over-fixation, antigen degradation, or improper sample storage.
